How this site is made

Type
Instrument Serif for my voice. Geist for text and interface, chosen because it has tabular figures, a lesson from Via. Geist Mono for metadata and numbers. All three are self hosted, subset to Latin, with metric matched fallbacks so nothing jumps when they load.
Colour
Paper and ink, one accent at a time. Red belongs to your model; blue belongs to the system. Every text colour meets WCAG AA contrast, most meet AAA. The night edition comes from my Aurora design system. Press 0 for wire mode, which removes every colour to check the hierarchy holds without it.
Stack
Astro, static pages, with small Preact islands only where something is interactive. Hosted on Vercel. One serverless function sends Invite messages through Resend. Design tokens live in one W3C tokens file that generates the CSS variables and TypeScript constants.
Illustrations
The drawings were generated from written prompts in one locked style (graphite on warm paper, one red pencil accent), then picked and processed for this site. No real person, brand or logo appears in them. The portrait is a treatment of a real photograph.
Measured, not claimed
Every figure about my work has a receipt: a red dot you can open to see the method, the source and the date it was checked. Builds fail if a banned claim appears in the copy.
Budgets, checked on every deploy: about 35 KB of JavaScript on Home, 25 KB of CSS, fonts under 110 KB, LCP under 1.8 s on a mid range phone. Accessibility is tested with axe on every page, in both editions, at phone and desktop widths. Measured results from the last deploy will be published here with their date.
Privacy
No tracking cookies and no consent banner. Analytics, if switched on, are cookieless and aggregate.
